Can anyone participate?
Yes, anyone can participate. However some courses might have requirements that we recommend that you would be able to fill for the most part.
Are there exams at the end of the course?
No, there are no exams on our courses.
If I participate in many courses do I get a discount?
Yes. If you or you together with your colleagues purchase more than one course at the same time you’ll get a discount.
- 2 tickets get 10% discount
- 3 tickets get 20% discount
- 4 or more tickets get 25% discount
It can be all different courses or you and your colleagues can participate on the same course.
I cannot make it to the course I’ve registered for, what are my options?
You can always give your place to your colleague, just send a mail to jani@grandone.fi. You can also participate in another course instead of the course you enrolled in. If participation is completely canceled at least two (2) weeks before the start of the event, we will charge only 15% + VAT of the participation fee as administrative expenses. For cancellations made after this period, the participation fee will not be refunded.
Do I get a recording of the course
Unfortunately no as we don’t have ways to control the way recordings would be used. You will however get course material or a summary of course materials.
Who are the teachers?
We pick the best professionals from each field to share their expertise.
When do you invoice?
We’ll send an invoice usually when we know that the course will be held. This happens latest two weeks before the course date. If you hope to have the invoice during 2025 please email jani@grandone.fi
Can I send requests about topics covered in the course I’ve registered for?
Yes. We’d be glad if you did. We cannot though promise that all requests are fulfilled, we leave that decision to the teacher.
What software you use for online courses
Our online courses are run with Zoom by default but some teachers might prefer Teams or Google Meet.

Are there any assignments before or after the course?
Yes, some courses include small assignments to be completed before or after the course. These will be listed in the timetable found on each course page.
Will there be exercises or workshops during the courses?
Some courses include exercises or workshops, but not all. This depends largely on the course topic.
Do I need specific software to attend a course?
Certain courses require access to specific software that will be used during the sessions. Please check the individual course page for details.
There is a course I’m intrested in but the date doesn’t suit me
Most courses will be offered again later on during 2026. Please let us know if there is course you are interested in but can’t attend (email to: jani@grandone.fi).
